Metcal MRS-1100A Modular Repair System
The MRS-1100A modular rework system is an integrated convection rework system used for desoldering and BGA/CSP and SMT component reflow.
MRS-1100A consists of convection tools, preheaters, and adjustable tool brackets. The tool bracket comes with an independent line bracket, allowing for the creation of a manual assistance repair system. This system is also equipped with a series of suction nozzles for various different applications.
After being equipped with standard functions such as programmability, digital display, and program storage for up to 50 curves, the MRS-1100A system can not only be used universally, but also operated conveniently and efficiently. At the same time, there are multiple circuit board brackets and accessories to choose from, allowing the system to handle PCB boards of various sizes.
MRS-1100A is available for optional use with embedded analysis capabilities, configured to run at a fixed temperature, or with the option of four zone programming. The device also facilitates temperature control during thermal output (internal) or on the circuit board (external). The "external" control function uses a thermocouple that can be attached to the circuit board or components.
The MRS-1100A modular repair system consists of the following four components:
1. HCT-1000 programmable handheld convection tool
2. PCT-1000 programmable preheater
3. ATH-1100A Adjustable Tool Bracket
4. BH-2000 independent circuit board bracket
